Finger prints on wax - Huellas de dedos en cera

For the skin containers series, the body is the agent that makes and supports the sculptures which are composed of thin pieces of wax that have the texture of fragments of skin. If you look closer you’ll see the different lines that articulate, construct, grow and reproduce between them. In this project I present the idea that the body is a space that constructs and at the same time liberates, showing the uniqueness, the fragility, and the ephemeral of it.
